Allied Machine and Engineering, a leading manufacturer of holemaking and finishing cutting tools for the metal-cutting industry, announces the expansion of their porting offering with the addition of solid carbide AccuPort 432 tools. Available in #2, #3, and #4 tube sizes for J1926, AS5202, and ISO6149, these solid carbide tools provide a one-shot porting solution at smaller tube sizes with the same benefits as the indexable AccuPort 432 line.

For high production manufacturers that value cycle time, the solid carbide AccuPort 432 offers a high-quality, repeatable, chatter-free porting solution with coolant right to the cutting edge. While the solid carbide porting tools are designed with a universal geometry aimed at targeting a range of materials, there is an opportunity to customize geometries and coatings in short lead times as well, optimizing the solution for specific application needs. Adding additional versatility, the new porting tools are also available as a kit with a solid carbide AccuThread thread mill.

“To better support customers in today’s changing solid carbide market, we have standardized our solid carbide porting tools to ensure customers have a stocked solution at a competitive price,” shared John Weniger, product manager.
