An update for the Alu-Line Basic series

Wohlhaupter has optimized the aluminum rails of the boring tools for 200 to 505 millimeters from the existing MultiBore series and adapted them to the increased machining requirements. Thanks to the reinforcement with steel plates, the Alu-Line Basic series from the manufacturer of precision tools now achieves an improved cutting performance. At the same time, the stability and service life of the modular connection point increases.

For the internal machining of large bores, for example for ship components, the Wohlhaupter Alu-Line is used in conjunction with the boring tools for diameters from 200 to 505 millimeters from the MultiBore series. In order to meet the new machine requirements, the manufacturer of precision tools has revised the connection point of the Alu-Line Basic. The serrated rails with the D60 cutter head holder previously consisted of nickel-plated aluminum and are now additionally reinforced with steel plates. As a result, the connection point between the panel holder and the aluminum rail gains stability and durability. "This also has a positive effect on the entire boring process: the machining performance is increased and less material is worn," explains Emir Cvolic, Head of Sales and Marketing at Wohlhaupter. When revising the series, the manufacturer took into account the experience and wishes of its customers.
